EastEnders fans set for a shock twist as Paul Coker’s death takes a sinister turn
Fans are speculating Ben Mitchell knows more about his boyfriend's death than he has let on
EASTENDERS is set to take a dark turn tomorrow night when Ben Mitchell reveals more details about his boyfriend Paul Coker's death.
The 20-year-old was left devastated in Tuesday's episode when he finally showed up on Albert Square bloodied and bruised after mysteriously disappearing, only to be told by dad Phil that his lover had died in hospital.
Ben revealed they had spent the night in Soho together but claimed they got separated as four thugs approached them, but his story made little sense to viewers.
He said: "We ran and got split up.
"I lost his jacket, with his phone... He had all of my cash... I must have passed out."
But it seems Ben may not be being completely honest when it comes to Paul's last moments, and as father and son start to bond, he opens up and shocks his dad about what really happened that night.
Ben will also apparently confide in another person on the Square about his secret, after it was previously revealed that Paul was alive when he arrived at the hospital.

As things look set to get ever darker in Walford, fans have begun to speculate about what exactly happened to lead to Paul's tragic death and what Ben could be hiding.
Ben killed Paul
Ben has never been comfortable with his sexuality, even trying to have a relationship with Abi Branning, so some fans believe Ben turned on Paul as they were being attacked by the men to disguise his true identity.
One fan wrote on a forum: "I personally think when Ben realised they were being attacked for being gay, he shouts abuse at paul while he is being attacked to show his disgust also so the thugs stop beating him.
"Once the thugs have done their worst, I think Ben laid a few hits on paul to look good and then ran off in shame."
It was a homophobic attack
Ben and Paul had forged a strong relationship in recent weeks, and after spending time in London's renowned gay area, they could have become victim to a homophobic attack. But if it was as simple as that, what would Ben be hiding?
Paul's mum killed him
A number of fans have linked the fact Paul's estranged mother turned up in Albert Square so close to his death after deserting him two decades ago. Her shifty appearance and the look in her eye as she watched her son with Ben in the Queen Vic has led many to think she took a sinister turn.
One fan wrote: "It could have something to do with Paul's mom too she doesn't look like a fit mom anyway she looked like she was a drug dealer or drug addict."
Max Branning killed him
Why would Max kill Paul you might ask? Well it could be a case of mistaken identity, with Ben being Max's real target after Phil was responsible for rigging the jury when he was falsely accused of killing Lucy Beale.
Ian and Jane also covered up for son Bobby's crimes, so Max killing Ben would see him destroy both families at once, as one fan said: "Max Branning paid someone to kill Ben to take revenge against the Mitchells and Beales! Case of mistaken identity as Paul had Ben's phone etc. (sic)"
Jay's drug dealing caused the death
Jay Brown has turned back to drugs to boost his finances in recent weeks as his problems mount, and fans are speculating his dodgy dealings somehow end up involving Ben and Paul.
While there isn't as clear a link to the two storylines, one viewer said: "I also have a feeling it's related to Jay and his drug dealing cos he was supposed to have this big scene coming up,think we have more to see on that?? (sic)".
