ASHLEY Cain has been told to enjoy his last weekend with baby Azaylia as he was given the heartbreaking news her tiny body is "slowly shutting down".
His partner Safiyya revealed that palliative care nurses today warned their daughter doesn't have long left.
She wrote on Instagram: "Feeling the heartache more and more today, as the Nurses woke me up this morning for a home visit & told me to enjoy the weekend as they now think her body is slowly shutting down.
"I got told this a couple of weeks ago and she has stayed so strong through this I’m so proud of how strong you are Azaylia.
"Hearing these words, rips and tears my heart and soul into pieces watching my little girl get tired is painful, but giving her 100% everyday is what she was promised, even when her eyes are closed I talk sing and shake her fav rattles so she is constantly surrounded by a positive vibe.
"Appreciating the day the hour and the min is something I never thought I would do as we all take life for granted."
Ashley said: "You can imagine what that means the fact of the matter is we make the most of her every day. i have got no plans for her going anywhere this weekend.
"I'm an optimist, I'm a believer. I'm in a positive mind-frame. I know her strength and I know mine. I ain't thinking those things. I ain't got no plans for this little girl to go this weekend. Let's go champ, let's go."
Praising her daughter for how she's transformed her life in the last eight months, Safiyya added: "When I wake up in the morning and see your beautiful face my heart instantly overflows with abundance of love for you.
"Being your mummy has taught me a lot about life, myself & other people for this lesson I am grateful for.
"This journey We have been on I have had some of the best days of my life, watching you hit all your milestones and just enjoying being a mummy to you.
"I have no time to think or attend to my own feelings or wants because yours come first, that’s what mummy’s are for."
Updating fans on her condition, she added: "Azaylias eyes are intensely dry for which she now has to have eye drops so her eyes can move along with platelet transfusions, and so much more, azaylias care is 24/7.
"I decided to put Azaylia in her pram outside in the shade today to enjoy some fresh air and hear different sounds, remember it’s the small things in life that really make a difference.
