Katie Price’s ex Kieran Hayler fuming as she fails to tell him she’s engaged despite him being dad to two of her kids
KATIE Price's ex Kieran Hayler has been left fuming after she failed to tell him that she's engaged to Carl Woods - despite him being dad to two of her kids.
The 34-year-old star found out about his ex's engagement when The Sun exclusively revealed the news last night - with Katie, who has been engaged seven times, confirming it on Instagram later that evening.
Kieran hasn't even met his children's future step-dad, with he and Katie sharing seven-year-old Jett and six-year-old Bunny.
He took a swipe at the 42-year-old ex glamour model earlier today, jibing that he hopes Carl is Katie's last fiance "for the kids' sake" - with a source revealing he spoke out because he is so angry about being blindsided.
The insider told The Sun: "Kieran's fuming as he found out she was engaged at exactly the same time everyone else did - he feels like she owes him a bit more than that as he's the father of two of her children.
"He hasn't even met Carl so the fact that Katie did this without even thinking of him has left him furious. That's why he's spoken out about it today."
"She's always chasing that fairytale so if Carl is The One then I'm happy for them.
"At the end of the day I need to think of my children's stability and they need somebody that is there all the time and not a different partner every few months. If this is it then good luck to her.
"I have to hope for my children that Carl will be the last one. But I have no idea, I'm not really in Kate's life now other than with the children."
Kieran popped the question to Katie in 2013 after being together for just six weeks.
The pair officially split in March 2018 after a tumultuous relationship dogged by cheating scandals, with Kieran having affairs with Katie's best friend, and the children's nanny.
They divorced this year - leaving Kieran free to marry his fiancée Michelle Penticost, who announced her pregnancy last month.
However, Katie not telling her ex about her engagement may have been to give him a taste of his own medicine - with The Sun revealing in March that she was "shocked" to have found out about Kieran's baby news online.
A source told The Sun at the time: "Katie was shocked as they're on good terms and she thought that he'd give her the heads up before going public."
The star's rep confirmed: "Katie was not aware of the news until she was notified of today's headlines."
Kieran acknowledged not telling Katie the news in advance, insisting that they live "different lives".

He argued: "We're living different lives now. I don’t know what’s going on in her life, she doesn’t know what’s going on in my life. All we need to speak about is the kids.
"We just get on because of the kids. Other than that there’s no reason for us to be in each other’s lives. We’re moving on. She’s happy and I’m happy."
