Bobby Davro wants to knock down his £3.5million mansion and build two new homes – for his girlfriend AND his ex-wife
The plans haven’t got down well with his neighbours who have objected in their droves over the six and four-bedroom homes
COMEDIAN Bobby Davro is planning to knock down his £3.5 million mansion and build two new homes for him and his girlfriend — and ex-wife.
The former Celebrity Big Brother and Dancing on Ice star, 57, wants to demolish the pad, which already boasts a swimming pool and tennis court, and replace it with two separate six and four-bedroom homes.
It is the latest bizarre twist in the love life of the former EastEnders actor.
Last year he revealed how he was back living in the old family home with his ex-wife Trudi Jameson, 46, as well as his girlfriend Vicky Wright, 57.
This was despite Trudi — with whom he has three daughters Brittany, 21, Tierney, 18, and Marnie 16 — having broken his heart after their ten-year marriage ended when she cheated on him with a builder.
The plans haven’t got down well with his neighbours who have objected in their droves.
Planners threw out his original proposals after ruling it would give Bobby, 57, and his ex-wife Trudi Jameson, a former topless model, “too much up front”.
Bobby has now submitted amended plans in Oxshott, Surrey, where other famous residents include Andy Murray and John Terry.
The proposals are for one detached single storey house with rooms in the roof space and a detached garage, believed to be for his ex-wife.
A detached two-storey house including TV room, games room, and a new access and gates is believed to be for Davro and his girlfriend.
But almost half a dozen residents have blasted the revised scheme on the grounds of loss of privacy, overlooking and over-development.
In a letter to the local council, one neighbour wrote: “I strongly object to this application again.
“Any building with rooms in the roof and velux or dorma (sic) windows will be in our direct eye line.
“Everything in those rooms will be visible to me and my children from their room.
“Aside of this the buildings alone will ruin our view.
“The extra driveway will be too near to an already hazardous bend.”
Another resident wrote: “Overall, despite the reduction in proposed build size ans slightly increased distance from the road compared to the previous application, the proposed development would still result in two prominent buildings which would be offensively prominent on the land in (the road) and out of keeping with local developments.”
Planners at Elmbridge Borough Council will now make a decision next month (August 8th).
Davro appealed against the council’s decision to to refuse permission for his previous bid but it was upheld by a planning inspector.
