IT takes a certain man to be able to pull off a moustache, and unfortunately Jake Gyllenhaal isn’t one of them.

The usually handsome star was snapped out in New York with his new facial hair, and at first you wouldn’t recognise him.

He looks more like one of the 118 men from the famous advert, rather than a Hollywood hunk.

The 35-year-old is currently filming new movie Okja, and has grown the retro tash for the film.

He has been snapped shooting the film around NYC with co-stars including Lily Collins and Tilda Swinton.
