Paloma Faith makes the most of ‘pre-Brexit weather’ with an exercise session in the park

Singer isn't expected to return to the swivelling chairs when The Voice switches to ITV

WHILST the UK is sweltering in a mini heatwave this week, singer Paloma Faith has been working up a sweat exercising in London in “pre Brexit weather”.

The British artist, who is not expected to return as a mentor on the Voice when it relaunches on ITV later this year, was yesterday seen training in a park with a pal.

Jogging for some of the route, the 34-year-old took it easier later on and had a break in the shade.

Wearing a grey exercise top and black running shorts, she seemed in good spirits for much of her work-out.

And she made sure she didn't scrimp on star quality with a pair of dark sunglasses completing her look.

Thankfully in the sweltering heat her friend was on hand to give her bottles of water as she tried to keep refreshed.

She told her 616,000 followers on Twitter: “Really enjoying this pre Brexit weather today #sunshine #summerinlondon.”

Paloma was famously one of 250 of Britain’s star names who signed a letter to the Guardian warning Brexit could undermine the creative arts industry as many projects were supported by the EU.

Others to pen their names include Sir Patrick Stewart, Kristin Scott Thomas, Keira Knightley, Jude Law, and Bill Nighy.

Some of her followers got on board with the tweet.

Dr Bones wrote: “It's going to be even sunnier when we are completely out, I know the tax I pay will be spent in this country and not in Europe.”

Emma warned: “Enjoy the happiness and sun while we remain in the EU,” before ominously adding: “Showers ahead.”

Another joked: “Its summer... my favourite day of the year.”

In April, Paloma exclusively told The Sun Online she was writing songs about her experience with online trolls while working on The Voice..

She said: “I’ve been working on a new album and there are moments that occur when I’m writing a song, for example the trolling issue, I’ve written songs about that.

ITV has not announced its line-up when the hit show moves across this year from the BBC, with Paloma not expected to return

“They’re not using words like Twitter or Instagram because that’s not very poetic, but yes it’s influenced my song writing because a record means a moment in time, so it’s inevitable to have an effect."
