THEY may have looked like they were having a brilliant time, but Cara De La Hoyde and Nathan Massey have admitted that having sex on Love Island was “daunting.”

In an interview with new! magazine, the couple confessed their nerves about having sex in front of the cameras and why they waited longer to do the deed than the other Islanders.

“It was quite daunting the first couple of times,” revealed Nathan.

And Cara added: “It took us a while to do it, longer than most people.

“He had to wait well over a week for a kiss.”

However, if you were wondering why the winners kept their antics under the covers, it was all down to the fact that certain people were watching.

Nathan said: “When you’ve got true feelings for each other, sex is important, we did it under the covers because our parents were watching.

“We didn’t want to disrespect them and it’s not a fling.”
