First Dates to get raunchy hotel makeover as C4 looks to sex up its line-up to cash in on Love Island ratings success
New E4 show, Coach Trip, is compared to an '18 to 30s holiday'
WITH the success of ITV’s Love Island it’s no surprise Channel 4 is making an attempt to sex up its listings.
Both First Dates and Coach Trip are getting raunchy makeovers.
First Dates Hotel will see singletons head to the French countryside for their blind dates.
At the end of the meal the couple will decide if they want to see each other again and, if the answer is yes, they will be put up in a boutique hotel room where they will spend the rest of their trip.
Bosses are making the show to give viewers a glimpse of what happens after the dates finish.
Meanwhile, Coach Trip host BRENDAN SHEERIN has revealed the new E4 spin-off of the popular daytime show will also set pulses racing.
The presenter has described Coach Trip: Road to Ibiza, which kicks off next Monday at 7:30pm on E4, as like an “18 to 30s holiday”.
And he claimed one contestant got the boot after she was more interested in downing vodka than seeing the sights.
With all the complaints about Love Island, Ofcom will have to hire more staff.
BEEB RISKS A FOUL UP
BBC1 chiefs are taking a big risk broadcasting potty-mouthed Mrs Brown on Saturday.
They have decided against using a five-second delay during the first ever live episode of the popular Mrs Brown’s Boys at 9.45pm.
Star BRENDAN O’CARROLL told the Radio Times: “I do get told sometimes to watch the swearing.
And I always say, ‘I wish you hadn’t told me because now I’m going to do it’.”
At least it will be after the watershed.
THE TEN O'CLOCK NUDES
IF you thought Sex Box was the most revealing Channel 4 series possible, just wait until you see Naked Attraction.
The steamy show, which hits screens next Monday at 10pm, sees contestants go stark naked in a bid to find love.
And host ANNA RICHARDSON, who is in a relationship with Bake Off’s SUE PERKINS, promises there will be no half-measures.
She said: “It’s no-holds barred, full-frontal nudity.
“The picker is faced with six bodies, from the toes to the waist – so six willies or six vaginas straight away – and from then it’s a process of elimination.”
Anna also hinted that the dress code in the Richardson-Perkins house isn’t too different.
She added: “I couldn’t give two hoots if people are naked – if your boobs and willies are swinging about, it kind of breaks the ice.”
That’s one way to look at it.
