THOUSANDS of supporters have backed a call for brave baby Azaylia Cain to be given a Pride of Britain award.
A campaign has been mounted on the 'Azaylia journey to fight Acute myeloid leukaemia' Facebook page to get Ashley Cain's brave baby girl one of the gongs.
Nominations for the 2021 awards are open and thousands of supporters of Azaylia have flooded the online site with nominations.
The annual awards celebrate the achievements of incredible people across the country.
Eight-month-old Azaylia's health battle has captured the hearts of people across the world with the likes of Hollywood movie star Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson giving his support.
Landmarks such as Clacton pier have been lit up in orange for the daughter of Ex On the Beach star Ashley and his girlfriend Safiyaa who is battling tumours all over her body.
And last night I'm A Celebrity Winner Giovanna Fletcher joined thousands of others on their doorsteps to take part in a 7pm clap in her honour.
Not long after the event, Azaylia was rushed back into hospital after her heart rate spiked.
Thankfully, doctors were able to assist and Azaylia was discharged again today.
Ashley posted a video to his instagram stories of his baby girl in the back of the ambulance being driven home as he gently placed his hand on top of her blanket, with the message: "Back home we go on the rollercoaster of emotions and events." It was followed by a red heart.
He also thanked supporters for clapping for his precious daughter, saying: "Thank you to every single person who clapped last night for our beautiful baby, Azaylia Diamond Cain.
"I am so glad we shared such a powerful journey with you.
"Through it we have gained such an incredible family with you all included.
"I still cannot believe how much love and energy Azaylia has created.
