And just before she left, she got in touch with the show to say thank you to life coaches The Speakmans who helped the yummy mummy get rid of her phobia.

In a message read out by host Ruth Langsford - who, along with husband Eamonn Holmes is stepping in for Holly and her co-host Phillip Schofield - Holly said she could now actually relax and enjoy the flight.

Eamonn said, "Today we have an update from Holly who got on a plane at the weekend…”

Revealing a happy picture of Holly on the plane, Ruth read out Holly’s update. It said, "I felt so much more relaxed. I could look out of the window without seeing the ground coming towards me!"

The message continued, "I'm so so happy and it’s such a relief to travel with the children knowing I'm not passing on any of my anxiety to them. Thank you so so much!"

After being made aware of Holly's progress, Nik and Eva spoke with Eamonn and Ruth to share their delight.

Eva said, "It’s great to see that she’s done so well. She was blaming aeroplanes for something that they hadn’t done… if you see it for what it is, you can change your perception of it.”
