‘Petulant and unimportant’: Chloe Grace Moretz and Selena Gomez blast Kim Kardashian over releasing Taylor Swift audio
Selena is one of Taylor’s BFFs and there’s no love lost between Chloe and Kim
CHLOE Grace Moretz and Selena Gomez have waded into the row surrounding Kim Kardashian and Taylor Swift as they appeared to attack the reality TV star on Twitter.
The actress and the pop star – who is one of Taylor’s best friends – took to their pages on the social media site shortly after Kim released audio defending her husband Kayne West.
The audio, which she shared to her Snapchat, proves that the Bad Blood singer did approve Kanye’s song Famous, despite her denial.
And in what appeared to be a dig at Kim for exposing the truth, Chloe posted: “Everyone in this industry needs to get their heads out of a hole and look around to realize what's ACTUALLY happening in the REAL world.
“Stop wasting your voice on something so petulant and unimportant.”
There is no love lost between 19-year-old actress and the 35-year-old reality TV star ever since Chloe slammed her for posting that now infamous nude selfie.
But soon after Chloe made her feelings clear about Kim exposing Taylor, she was pulled up by a follower who accused her of being a hypocrite, after her next tweet was a snap of herself in a bikini with the caption, “Side note”.
The user, known as Pitlieber, wrote: “Does this not come to play in any of this? You just completely contradicted yourself.”
Others also slammed her for getting involved and Kim and Taylor’s feud but not bothering to Tweet about the important issues of the day, as one wrote: “I don’t see you talking about important stuff like black lives matter, police brutality or attacks in the Middle East, fake b****.”
Selena was also slammed after she came to the defence of Taylor, her BFF for many years now, as she took to her Twitter page not long after Kim’s post and wrote: “There are more important things to talk about… Why can’t people use their voice for something that f*****g matters.
“Truth is last thing we need right now is hate, in any form.
“This industry is so disappointing yet the most influential smh.”
But followers said she too only decided to Tweet on irrelevant issues and one wrote: “You literally have not used your voice, or lack thereof, to speak on any of the tragedies in the world within the past 4 months.”
And another added: “If the last thing we need is ‘hate’, why were you in the “Bad Blood” video which capitalized on a feud with Katy Perry?”
Since Chloe and Selena shared their thoughts on the row, Ruby Rose, Katy Perry and even Jedward have also taken to Twitter to share their reactions.
Yesterday, Kim exposed Taylor as a "liar" after she posted a recording of her in conversation with Kanye discussing the song Famous.
Taylor – who has always denied any knowledge of the song – can be heard describing it as a ‘compliment’.

She goes on to tell him to use whichever lyric he thinks is best because ‘people will know it is not a diss’.
Kim shared the audio in the earlier hours of this morning after tweeting just hours earlier that it was national snake day – which many believed was aimed at Taylor.
It also coincided with the latest episode of Keeping Up With The Kardashians in which she discusses the pop singer’s ongoing feud with her husband.
Prior to posting the audio on her Snapchat Kim tweeted: “Do u guys follow me on snap chat? u really should ;-)”
