Peter Andre’s daughter Princess shares a glimpse at her special bond with her step-mum Emily in adorable throwback

PRINCESS Andre has shown how much her step-mum Emily means to her with a sweet throwback snap of them curled up together.

Pop singer Peter Andre's daughter to ex-wife Katie Price, shared the photograph from seven years ago with her 396,000 followers.

It shows her and Emily MacDonagh, curled up together making a heart shape as they nap.

Princess, who would have only been six at the time the photograph was taken, is sucking her thumb while Emily is sound asleep facing her.

The adorable snap shows the special bond the teenager and her 31-year-old step-mother share.

Princess captioned the photo: "Omg a picture of me and Ems 7 years ago," followed by a sad face emoticon and red heart.

Emily - a NHS registered doctor - started dating Mysterious Girl crooner Peter, 48, nearly a decade ago when studying medicine.

Their unlikely union began in 2010 after he gave her and her mum tickets to his pop concert to say thank you to Emily's father- Dr Ru MacDonagh for operating on him for a septic kidney stone.

He gave her a signed programme which read: "Dear Emily. You are gorgeous. Love, Pete."

Emily said of their unusual introduction, "It was instant. I couldn't explain it. It was bizarre. We made eye contact and little did I know he was my future husband."

The pair kept in touch and in 2012 went together on a charitable trip to Zanzibar where Peter said he knew Emily was 'The One' and described her as an "old soul".

Despite their 17-year age gap, the couple started a relationship and married in a lavish ceremony six years ago at Mamhead House, Exeter.

The couple shares a strong belief in the importance of family and has had two children together Amelia, seven, and Theo, who was born November 2016.

Last year they spoke about trying for a third baby and have shared custody of Princess and her brother Junior, 15.

In 2018 Princess and Junior lived full time with their father and Emily during Katie's divorce from Kieran Hayler and spend chunks of time with the couple.
