Married at First Sight’s Jamie Otis shares image of baby scan days after tragic miscarriage
The reality TV star took to Instagram to thank her loyal followers for their support
MARRIED at First Sight bride Jamie Otis has posted an image of her baby scan on Instagram as she continues to share the heartbreaking aftermath of her miscarriage on social media.
The brunette revealed she was expecting her first child with reality show husband Doug Hehner earlier this month, yet after warning her fans her pregnancy had hit a rocky patch, she tragically admitted they had lost their baby this week.
After breaking the very sad news on Instagram, she has now shared a snap showing Baby Hehner in her tummy taken from an early scan.
Alongside the image of her posing next to the picture, Jamie revealed it was taken on one of her "last visits" to the doctors.
She posted: "I was always so excited for doctor visits because it meant I could see my little baby bouncing inside me."
Registered nurse Jamie, 30, who met Doug on the first season of the hit show, added: "My heart hurts so bad but I cannot tell you how much it means to me to see all the love and support from you all.
"Thank you all so much."
The bubbly brunette seemed to be seeking support from positive mantras and quotes during the couple's difficult time.
She uploaded a message written in a typewriter-style font which said: "We never had the chance to plat, to laugh, to rock, to wiggle.
"We long to hold you, touch you now and listen to you giggle."
Jamie added her own words to the caption and wrote: "Thanks for being our angel.
"Mommy and daddy love you so, so much."
