In the clip, she tells her ten million followers she is “excited and a little nervous about getting this shot” but encourages people to be safe as “we’re still in this battle together”.
Meanwhile, comedian John Bishop got a celebrity surprise when he went for his jab on the same day.
The 54-year-old ran into Downton Abbey star Hugh Bonneville outside Midhurst Riverbank Medical Centre in West Sussex.
He took the opportunity to get a selfie with the 57-year-old actor who has been volunteering at the centre.
Bishop told his followers on Instagram: “You know you’ve picked a posh centre when Hugh Bonneville volunteers here!”
Bonneville got his AstraZeneca Covid jab in January at the same centre.
He shared a photo of himself wearing a volunteer top while giving the thumbs up as the needle went into his arm.
He captioned the snap: “Midhurst’s Riverbank Medical Centre started vaccinating last week. Today Midhurst Pharmacy, led by Raj Rohilla, joined the rollout in north West Sussex.
“With former nurse Jo Wiltshire, Raj and retired GPs Andrew Douglas & Madelaine Litchfield (who gave me my AstraZeneca jab). Delighted to be part of the support team as a volunteer marshall. I get to wear hi viz and everything.”
