'SHE HASN'T CHANGED MUCH'

Taylor Swift accused of ‘ripping down pictures’ of former co-star because ‘she didn’t like sharing spotlight’

The songstress has hit the headlines this week after her ex Calvin Harris lashed out at her on Twitter

TAYLOR Swift reportedly "ripped down" photos of her youth theatre co-star Cody Derespina because she didn't like sharing the spotlight.

The FoxNews.com reporter has revealed how he was ";undercut" by the Blank Space singer when she was just 11 years old.

It comes after her ex-boyfriend Calvin Harris exploded on Twitter over credit on his new song This Is What You Came For.

Taylor and Cody performed together in a youth theatre production of Bye Bye Birdie but he says Taylor "ripped down a series of pictures of me" after the musical.

He wrote in an article for : "The year was 2001. I was 14 at the time and Swift did not like me in the least (nor I her), but the character she played in a Berks Youth Theatre version of Bye Bye Birdie was in love with the character I played.

"She was the established star of the group and I was a newcomer.

"Swift didn’t seem to enjoy sharing the spotlight....... and, after one performance, Swift ripped down a series of pictures of me, crumpled them and threw them against a wall."

He described Taylor, 26, as "an ambitious young girl" and speculated that the singer hadn't changed much since then given what has happened in the past few weeks.

Cody continued: "It doesn’t seem as if Swift has changed all that much from her days of ripping down my photos.

"Only now, she’s become famous for ripping her various ex-boyfriends in songs after their breakups.

"So don’t feel too bad, Calvin. I’ve been there."

Calvin, 32, hit out on Twitter at his Shake It Off singer ex when it came to light that she had secretly written his recent hit, This Is What You Came For featuring Rihanna.

Tweeting a link to an article, he confirmed: “And she sings on a little bit of it too. Amazing lyric writer and she smashed it as usual.

“I wrote the music, produced the song, arranged it and cut the vocals though. And initially she wanted it kept secret, hence the pseudonym.”

However once the floodgates had been opened, that wasn’t all he had to say on the matter.

Calvin continued in a series of follow up tweets: “Hurtful to me at this point that her and her team would go so far out of their way to try and make ME look bad at this stage though.

“I figure if you’re happy in your new relationship you should focus on that instead of trying to tear your ex bf down for something to do.

“I know you’re off tour and you need someone new to try and bury like Katy ETC but I’m not that guy, sorry I won’t allow it.
