FANS have been sending their condolences to Ashley Cain after his daughter tragically lost her battle with cancer.
Many took to his GoFundMe page, where he had been raising funds to get treatment for Azaylia, to pay tribute after her death.
Who is Ashley Cain?
Ashley, 30, is a former footballer turned reality star born on September 27, 1990.
He played for Championship side Coventry City and had loan spells at Luton, Oxford United and Mansfield Town.
The footie star became well known on TV during his stint on MTV’s Ex On The Beach.
He and his partner Safiyya Vorajee had one daughter together, Azaylia Diamond, who was born in August 2020 but tragically died in April 2021.
When did his daughter Azaylia die?
It was announced on Sunday, April 25, 2021, that Azaylia had passed away from leukaemia.
Ashley, told fans the heartbreaking news, writing: “Rest in paradise princess. I will always hold you in my heart until I can hold you again in heaven.”
Azaylia’s mum Safiyya Vorajee added: “You are my Angel my heartbeat my soul, RIP my precious baby, you will always be with me like a handprint on my heart.”
And in a further post the same day, Saffiya paid a further emotional tribute to her baby daughter.
She posted on Instagram: “You are my Angel my heartbeat my soul, RIP my precious baby, you will always be with me like a handprint on my heart.”
The parents were devastated after doctors found more tumours and ran out of options to save the young girl who was battling a rare form of leukaemia.
For weeks, doctors said the brave baby girl could only have “days to live”, but Ashley and Safiyya refused to give up hope.

The couple raised more than £1.5million after begging fans and friends to help pay for potentially life-saving treatment in Singapore.
He launched a to secure funding.
Since starting up the fundraiser on March 27, 2020, the page now has 115,300 donors and they have managed to raise £1,603,120.
One generous donor wrote: “You are the most amazing parents, and with your beautiful daughter, a beautiful family. Your story has touched and broken my heart.
“You will meet again. Rest in peace beautiful baby girl xxxx”
