Heartbreak for Married at First Sight star Jamie Otis as she suffers a miscarriage
Jamie and husband Doug Hehner only recently announced they were expecting their first child
HEARTBROKEN Married at First Sight bride Jamie Otis took to Instagram to announce she had suffered a tragic miscarriage in a series of hugely emotional posts.
The stunning brunette found love at the altar with Doug Hehner on the US version of the reality show and the couple recently announced they were expecting their first child.
Yet yesterday, Jamie poured out her emotions on the social media site and revealed they had lost their first child, and said Baby Hehner must have been "just too beautiful for Earth."
The jewellery brand founder confirmed speculation she was a mum-to-be was true just seven days ago.
As well as uploading a shot of her and her smiling hubby holding a picture from their scan, she squealed: "I am pregnant, four months today!" on an appearance on US show Today.
She added to People magazine: "We can't wait to start this new chapter of our lives.
"Being a mom has been my dream."
Yet a week later Jamie hinted there were issues and urged her followers to send their good wishes.
Taking to Twitter she wrote: "Please pray for Doug, me and our baby Hehner," along with prayer and love heart Emojis.
After suggesting there were problems in the early stages, yesterday Jamie bravely posted an image of a quote and told her fans the very sad news.
The quote read: "An angel opened up the book of life and wrote down my baby's birth.
"Then she whispered as she closed the book, he's too beautiful for earth."
Alongside the snap Jamie wrote: "Our baby Hehner was just too beautiful for Earth.
I Love him so much - ALWAYS will - and can't wait to meet him in heaven one day.
"Please pray for us."
