Holly Hagan quits Geordie Shore – and has already filmed her exit scenes
Show insiders claim the original cast member is the latest star to leave the MTV show
HOLLY Hagan is the latest star to quit Geordie Shore, according to show insiders.
The curvy brunette, who has been in the programme for all thirteen series, has told pals that she won’t be returning to the programme.
A source told The Sun online: “Holly has had enough and has been telling people she’s done with the show.
“She wants to concentrate on her fitness brand and living a normal life.
“She’s only 24 but she’s an old head on young shoulders – she wants to settle down and have a family.”
Observers noticed that Holly wasn’t seen for the series’ last three nights of filming, sparking whispers that she had walked.
Holly, who , made her early exit along with on-off boyfriend Kyle Christie, who had returned to filming after some time away from the show.
The source added: “Producers are hoping she rethinks her decision as she has threatened to quit a few times but always come back.
“Just last year she was moaning on Twitter that she hated the producers for how they edited her and Kyle’s rocky romance, but she still returned to filming.”
However, a show insider confirmed that Holly has filmed an exit scene – but they were keen to stress that all the cast members did one.
They said: “After Charlotte Crosby walked out unexpectedly, the producers weren’t taking any chances.
“For continuity reasons and to make sure viewers get to say a proper goodbye to departing cast mates, they’ve made everyone film a final scene.”
If Holly follows through on her promise, it means she follows in the footsteps Aaron Chalmers, Chantelle Connelly and Charlotte Crosby.
Holly, who turned 24 last week, threatened to quit the show earlier this year, claiming that she felt like she had “degraded herself”.
She said: “I have grown up. I’m not going to apologise for it.
“I’ve been through so much and I’ve degraded myself a lot when I shouldn’t have.
“Of course I am going to be thinking about leaving and I have been thinking about leaving a lot.
“If I haven’t got a reason to be there I don’t just want to stick around.”
Holly added that she also thought she was boring to watch now she was finished with shagging and shots.
She said: “If people want to call us boring now I couldn’t give a flying f***. I will wear the boring title with absolute pride.
“But do you really think I want to go in there and cry? Of course I don’t. I want to go in there and have a good time, but at a lot of points it seems like unless you’re sh*gging about, you’re on the sidelines.
“I had a great time when I was younger but I’m nearly 24. I want to be settled down in a couple of years, and I’ve got to think about my future.
“I don’t enjoy it and I don’t want to be there if I don’t enjoy it, I bring people down.
“I’m not just going to stay because other people want us to, it’s got to be right for me. Something’s going to have to change.”
A representative for Holly has been approached for comment.
