Katie Price ‘is really pleased’ for ex Kieran Hayler having a baby with new fiancee, says Kerry Katona
KERRY Katona has said her best mate Katie Price will be “really pleased” her ex husband Kieran Hayler is expecting a baby with his new fiancee - despite wanting to be pregnant herself.
The 40-year-old, who has known the reality star for years, sent her congratulations to Kieran and Michelle as she discussed Katie’s reaction.
Writing in her new! Magazine column, she explained: “I know Katie is wanting to get pregnant too but I’m sure she’ll still be really pleased. And for Jett and Bunny to have another brother or sister is lovely too. Baby news is always joyful.”
Kerry went on to say she is in a similar situation herself as her ex husband Brian McFadden is expecting a baby with his partner Danielle.
She wrote: “My ex is having a baby with his fiancee and there’s no animosity there whatsoever. I’m so pleased for Brian and Danielle.”
Kieran, 33, and Michelle announced their happy news in a magazine interview earlier this month, with 39-year-old Michelle sharing: "We're really excited to announce our news to the world. We found out in the last week of November."
The former stripper shares seven-year-old Jett, and six-year-old Bunny with Katie, and Michelle is mum to 10-year-old Valentino from a previous relationship.
The former couple are on good terms after their divorce was finalised earlier this year.
However, Katie was left blindsided by the news he was to be a dad again as she found out by reading the news.
A source told The Sun: "Katie was shocked as they're on good terms and she thought that he'd give her the heads up before going public."
The star's rep confirmed: "Katie was not aware of the news until she was notified of today's headlines."
