Katie Price wears heels for the first time since horror accident that shattered her feet
KATIE Price slipped into a pair of high heels for the first time since shattering her feet in a horror accident last summer.
The 42-year-old star was relieved to discover that she could still wear stilettos after it was feared at one point that she would never walk again.

The former glamour model filmed herself nervously trying on a pair of Gucci platform wedges, before her appearance on Steph's Packed Lunch last week.
"Today is the actual first day that I'm actually going to wear heels since my accident," Katie said in a new video on her .
"So I don't know what they're like to walk in because these were summer shoes."
Katie was at first unsure asking herself "can I still walk in them?"

A thrilled Katie then stood up and said: "Yes I actually f***ing can."
The TV star confidently strutted up and down backstage showing off her pricey summer espadrilles.
Katie, wearing a pink figure-hugging leggings and an oversized cardigan, said: "I love it, they're actually so comfortable. We need to do a picture of that and say first time in heels."
The reality star broke her feet falling off a 25ft wall onto a concrete ramp in Turkey last July.

She previously told The Sun, that she had been declared disabled after breaking her feet in a freak accident and she said: “I’m crippled and scarred for life."
Katie said she feared she'd die, lose both her legs, or never walk again.
The damage was so severe that it took an eight-hour op to fuse the bones back together.
She said: “The accident has changed my life and it’s only just sunk in if I’m honest.

"I’ve been given two sets of painkillers but I can’t take them because I’m scared of becoming addicted, so I’m just in constant pain.
“I’ve got a limp when I walk now as one leg is longer than the other because of all the metal in the foot — I waddle like a duck. It does make me feel a bit paranoid."
Nine months later, Katie is now only able to walk for a maximum of 20 minutes at a time before the pain becomes too much.
The star needs physiotherapy sessions four times a week — and potentially even more surgery.

She said: “I’m lucky to be alive and to be able to walk a short distance — but it gets frustrating.
“Emotionally it is very hard as I want to do things like run, walk a bit longer and stuff but I can’t.”

The disaster came on her first romantic break with Love Island boyfriend Carl Woods, 31.
It topped off a terrible year for Katie with her eldest son Harvey, 18, being rushed into intensive care and hospitalised for ten days.
