Anthea Turner’s bankrupt ex Grant Bovey in £100k Celebrity Big Brother bailout
Business flop set to appear with housemates Helen Lederer and Katie Waissel
DESPITE being a multi-millionaire GRANT BOVEY shamelessly chomped on a Flake for a quick payday.
And now ANTHEA TURNER’s ex-husband is so broke that he’s signed up to go on Celebrity Big Brother for £100,000.
Grant was declared bankrupt in 2010 when he couldn’t repay £50million worth of debts his property empire had racked up.
And the latest figures for his new company Skydance Media show things haven’t improved as he is £7,000 in the red.
He is set to enter the house later this month, 15 years after Anthea appeared in the first ever celebrity version.
A source said: “Grant has never recovered financially since going bankrupt and the Big Brother offer was too good to turn down.
“He knows what the show is all about because Anthea went on it just after they got together.

“It’s not what he ideally wants to do but his firms aren’t doing well at the moment and he’s owed money by clients and suppliers.”
Anthea came fourth when she appeared on the show – behind JACK DEE, CLAIRE SWEENEY and KEITH DUFFY.
She had been married to Grant for a year while on the show having met in 1998.
But the pair split in 2013, a year after he was caught cheating with property heiress Zoe de Mallet Morgan.
The couple were forced to sell their £10million Surrey mansion which Anthea had already kicked him out of.
But they didn’t divorce until last year after Anthea had remained close to Grant’s three daughters from a previous marriage.
And Grant isn’t the only name on Channel 5’s hitlist.
I revealed this week how Ab Fab’s HELEN LEDERER has had talks with CBB bosses to appear this year, while yesterday former X Factor contestant KATIE WAISSEL was linked with a trip to the house.
I can’t wait to see what drama unfolds.
