The pair told how they thought their sex scenes on the show were respectful as they only got frisky under the covers.

Speaking about the controversial sex scene between Terry Walsh and Emma-Jane Woodhams, Nathan commented: "We have watched it back and it was a huge shock at the time.

"But I guess it's their choice and there were real feelings there."

Cara previously worked on X-rated channel Studio 66, and was open about her time there, telling The Sun Online: "They (viewers) are basically ringing up to have a ****, it is dirty chat.

“You take your clothes off but you can’t do anything else.

“It was good, I used to enjoy it, I did it for about two years and started when I was 23. When I was younger it was amazing money."

Cara also admitted that she had appeared in adult magazines: “I have done Playboy and Mayfair but I am proud of that."

Cara claimed she didn't think her topless display on Porn Hub counted as pornography.
She said: "I know I haven't done porn.
"Nathan knows I haven't done porn.
"I was very honest about what I've done.
"With me what you see is what you get."
The duo, who the other Islanders compared to Scott Disick and Kourtney Kardashian, told how they're planning on spending their £50k.
Nathan revealed: "obviously family comes first. Cara said that she's going to give most of her winnings to her family.
"I'll also help my mum and dad out where I can."
Cara added: "we're both from working class backgrounds if we were lucky enough to earn more money from this we would like to have a house but you never know where this will go."

Opening up about having sex in the house Cara said: "Me and Nath - we didn't go into the Villa saying we're not going to have sex If we met somebody.
"But we were very careful to be quite respectful as our parents were watching and we were quite reserved.
"I don't regret any of it and I'd do it all exactly the same again.
"We thought that the public would like Scott and Kady and when we got down to the final two we thought Olivia and Alex had won.
"It still hasn't sunk in."
