MICHELLE Keegan spent two days in a London salon as she underwent a marathon makeover session to transform into a blonde, according to the top colourist behind her amazing new hair 'do.
The actress underwent a complete style change, and now we can reveal the secrets behind her new look.
The TV star stunned fans when she unveiled her amazing transformation this week, and we can now exclusively reveal the secrets behind her fab 'do.
Vernon Deysel, Creative Colour Director at Paul Edmonds London, was the brains behind the actress' makeover, and he explained it took two days of hard work to get the colour right.
The top colourist also revealed both the actress and her husband were delighted with her new blonde look.
He told The Sun Online: "It was a very methodical approach so she felt more at ease and was ecstatic with the final result, as was Mark Wright!"
Vernon explained that Michelle spent two days at the salon as he and his team worked their magic.
He told us: "It took two days.... [We used] pre-lightener first which made her hair lighter ... [But] my main concern was making sure her hair stayed shiny and healthy..."

Vernon transformed Michelle's natural brown locks into a stunning shade of blonde, and he admitted the actress was "nervous" before taking the plunge.
However, she was "very brave" and was delighted with the final result.
Vernon added: "She was brave and really lovely throughout the whole process, even when her hair went bright orange... I said: 'Don't worry we are only half way there' and we had a good laugh about it..."
Vernon also revealed that Michelle may even stay blonde as she agreed to wait until the end of filming her new TV drama before making decision on whether to go back to brunette.
He said: "She agreed to wait until the end of filming to see whether she wants to keep it."
Michelle made the change as part of her role in new ITV drama series Tina and Bobby, in which she plays the wife of footballing legend Bobby Moore.
The prestigious Paul Edmonds London salon boasts a host of A-list clients, including Sam Smith, Abbey Clancy and Catherine Zeta-Jones.
Members of the team also work on numerous film and TV projects - they recently coloured Margot Robbie's hair for her role in The Legend of Tarzan.
They have also worked on shows such as Game of Thrones and Downton Abbey.
