Love Island’s Cara and Nathan set to be the ‘next Peter and Katie’ and could cash in up to £1million says celeb manager
They may have won the £50k ... but if they work hard enough they could hit the jackpot
They may have just bagged themselves the £50,000 prize money after winning Love Island on Monday night - but Cara De La Hoyde and Nathan Massey could potentially make themselves millionaires within the space of a year.
A top celebrity manager has exclusively revealed that if the pair play their cards right, they will be left laughing all the way to the bank as they monetize their new romance.
Nathan and Cara won the surprise ITV2 smash hit after earning a staggering 54% of the public vote.
Cara was then given the opportunity to take the entire £50k pot, or to split it with her new love.
Showing she was in it for the love and not for the cash, Cara decided to share - but now it looks like she is set to do both.
“Cara and Nathan are in an extremely good position, they just need to be clever and see this as a good platform to build on their public profile and not automatically assume they are already a celebrity couple,” says Rob Cooper.
He added: "If they play the game right they can earn at least £100k in the next few months, if they go on to have a family and wedding then they have the potential to be a £1 million couple."
However, Rob warns that the couple need to be careful not to "believe their own hype" and build strong foundations in order to maintain the interest of the public.
“I think both Cara and Nathan have the ability to land their own reality show pretty quickly within the ITV family of channels," said Rob.
"Cara’s already declared her desires to have children with Nathan and if that's something they plan for the near future, it would make fascinating TV.
"A reality TV deal with ITV would be worth tens of thousands per series to each of them.”

In fact, the PR guru believes that if the pair work hard enough, they could hail back to the days of Katie Price and Peter Andre's reality days.
He said “There’s not been a decent reality couple since Katie and Peter, mainly because many of them can’t wait to publicly gush over each other.”
“Their relationships foundations are very similar to Katie and Peter’s, they played their early relationship out on one of ITV’s biggest series and now have a lot of press interest. They need to maintain their value by sticking to the bigger channels and publications," he added.
However, he claims that they should be wary and avoid public dramas, which could quickly turn the public off them.
Rob believes that in order to gain their own money, Cara would do will in gossip magazines and endorsements, while Nathan will draw in punters with appearances at gay bars and nightclubs.
He said: “Nathan can expect to receive around £2k-£2.5k for a 30 minute personal appearance.
"He’ll also have a lot of interest from gay magazines as he has a strong image and good personality.
"Men are always more appealing to nightclub bookers as they draw a strong female and LGBT crowd.”
Ultimately, after becoming faces in homes across the UK, it would be how they interact with their fan base from now on that could make-or-break their potential new money-spinner.
“Social Media will make or break their potential as a celebrity couple," Rob advised.
"Play it right and the public will be hooked, play it wrong and public will lose interest within weeks.”
