COUNTRY music star Kelsea Ballerini has broken many records during her nearly decade-long music career in Nashville.
She will follow up on her musical success by joining the judging panel on The Voice's 27th season.

Who is Kelsea Ballerini?
Born on September 12, 1993, Kelsea Ballerini is an American country singer and songwriter who has also dabbled in pop.
She was born in Knoxville, , and is the only child of Ed and Carla Ballerini.
In 2014, the rising star signed with Black River Entertainment and released her debut album, The First Time, the following year.
Her second album, Apologetically, came out in 2017.
Her single, Love Me Like You Mean It, made her the first female artist to send a debut single to the top of the country music chart since Carrie Underwood in 2006.
With Dibs and Peter Pan, she became the first female country artist with her first three singles to top that chart since Wynonna Judd.
The young star released two albums, the first titled, Kelsea, and the stripped-down acoustic version titled, Ballerini, in 2020.
In September 2022, Ballerini debuted her latest album, Subject To Change.
The album is the star's most vulnerable work thus far, with subjects ranging from her divorce from fellow country music star Morgan Evans to losing a friend.
She credits writing her 2021 book Feel Your Way Through, an original book of poetry, with helping he tap into her more vulnerable side.
She told Billboard, "I credit a lot of the openness and the more poetic side of the songwriting to the book.
"I feel like that opened my mind creatively and helped me work outside of the [standard song] structure.
"That creative freedom unlocked a part of me I hope to keep pushing in any kind of project that I do."
Now a prominent figure in music, Ballerini has been repeatedly tapped to host the CMT Music Awards.
She started in 2021, but her fourth and last show so far was the 2024 CMT Music Awards.

“I’ve hosted or co-hosted this show for four years now, and I’ve gotten to host a lot of different kinds of ventures over the last decade — and I really enjoy it.
"It was the first thing that I did outside of music really, that allowed me to ask myself the question: What else? Like, what else can I do?
"And I’m ready to ask myself that question again, and I really want to give myself the space to see what else there is.
"Never say never — I will never say that I won’t come do this again. I love it. I just am excited to see what else I can do.”
Her latest venture was revealed on June 5, 2024.
The Voice's social media account confirmed that Ballerini would be joining Adam Levine, Michael Bublé, and John Legend on the show's 27th season.
It will be her first time taking a turn on the spinning chair. Season 27 is expected to premiere in 2025.

Is Kelsea Ballerini married?
After nearly five years of marriage, Ballerini and her husband, Morgan Evans, decided to call it quits.
The duo first met when hosting Australia's Country Music Channel awards in 2016.
They got engaged on Christmas of the same year and then married in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, in 2017.
Ballerini announced the divorce on her Instagram with the following statement: "Friends, I have always tried my best to share my life with you in a real and vulnerable way, while also protecting layers of my personal life as they unfold.
"This is now public record so I wanted you to hear from me directly that I am going through a divorce."
The star continued: "This deeply difficult decision is the result of a journey of love, growth, and effort that ultimately has come to an end. It's hard to find the words here…but I feel extremely grateful for the years of marriage to Morgan and hopeful for the next seasons."
Her divorce from Evans was officially finalized in November 2022.
The star has since moved on to date Chase Stokes, an actor best known for his work on the Netflix drama Outer Banks.
The pair sparked dating rumors in January 2023 and made it official shortly after, with Ballerini admitting to making the first move by sliding into Stokes' Instagram DMs.
The pair made their red carpet debut three months later.

"The thing that we've decided, and to each their own, is when you're with someone that you feel secure with and that you're proud to be with, why not share it?" the singer told of their relationship.
"He's also a Virgo, we’re very similar; we're both Labrador Retrievers in human form. It doesn't take much conversation to be on the same page."
