Cheryl makes ex Jean-Bernard sign confidentiality agreement so he won’t reveal her X Factor secrets
He's warned not to let slip any details about their relationship or her time on show
Cheryl has made her estranged husband sign a "vice-like" confidentiality agreement preventing him from revealing her secrets.
Jean Bernard Fernandez-Versini agreed after being warned he would be hit with a massive legal bill if he revealed any details of his relationship with the former X Factor judge.
She feared he would blow the lid on the secrets between her and other panellists on the show including fellow singer Rita Ora who quit earlier this year.
The non disclosure deal has killed off plans JB had for a book after we exclusively revealed earlier this year he had flown to LA to have talks with a publisher.
A source said: ''JB just wanted to have the freedom to speak but he knew that he couldn't fight against Cheryl's lawyers. They are too powerful and too expensive.
''He doesn't have the money for a long drawn out legal battle and Cheryl is adamant she doesn't want him to speak about their relationship and about X Factor.
''The agreement he has had to sign is vice-like.
"It is watertight and if he speaks out about their marriage or anything he will be in front of a judge.''
Earlier this year Rita quit the X Factor to focus on her music career and Cheryl also announced she would no longer take part in the show -- fuelling suggestions the pair had fallen out.

A source said: ''There was a little bit of professional jealousy between Rita and Cheryl and the confidentiality agreement is to ensure that what happens behind the scenes on X Factor stays there.
''There were also concerns that he would reveal details of their marriage and personal life but he's not that sort of guy.
"He was upset that the marriage ended but is now determined to press on with his life.''
They tied the knot two years ago after a whirlwind six month romance but split seven months ago after Cheryl, 33, began dating One Direction star Liam Payne -- ten years younger than her.
A prenup was drawn up between the couple but suggestions that he is after a £5 million settlement and has hired a top firm of lawyers are way off the mark.

The source added: ''JB is not interested in money.
He was more concerned at the fact that he couldn't speak out and talk about their relationship as he had planned to write a book and had been in talks with a published in Los Angeles but that won't happen now.''
Last week The Sun revealed how JB had put Cheryl behind him by checking into a luxury hotel for an all night romp with Love Island reject Kasey Wynter.
