Nicole Scherzinger almost suffers a wardrobe malfunction in thigh-split dress as she arrives for the X Factor’s Six-Chair Challenge

NICOLE Scherzinger was seconds away from an embarrassing wardrobe malfunction as she walked the X Factor red carpet wearing a thigh-scraping red dress.
The stunning floor length dress had a split reaching the top of the 38-year-old’s thigh, and while it certainly flattered Scherzy, it perhaps wasn’t designed to deal with the unpredictable British gusts of wind.
While walking into the Six-Chair challenge taking place today at Wembley Arena, Nicole had to stop in front of the cameras to make sure the gown stayed in place and that she didn’t end up exposing more than she bargained for.
However, once the dress, which was cinched at the waist with a black belt, had red slashed sleeves with black cuffs, was under control the X Factor favourite completely wowed.
She is wearing a look by designer Amanda Wakeley which was shown in the fashion mogul's Winter 2016 runway collection.
Nicole’s return to the new series of The X Factor has gone down well with fans, but one person who was less than pleased was Andrew Lloyd Webber, after she dropped out of his Broadway production of Cats.
He told The Economist radio last month: “I mean, she’s crazy, but the American producers just took a view — ‘well, fine, we’ll get somebody else,’ because she’s actually not very well-known in America, amazingly. I mean, she’s much better well known here.
“I’m furious because I really believe she’s the most fantastically talented girl, and I went out on a limb to get her for the London Palladium here, and it makes me look like an absolute [bleep] with them all.
“But never mind, there’ll be another girl on Broadway, and Nicole will not get her Tony Award.”
