JOEY Essex has revealed he's grown a beard "to attract a new girlfriend".
The Celebs Go Dating star - who has joined the agency for the third time - showed off his new look on Good Morning Britain today.
He was quizzed by hosts Ben Shephard and Kate Garraway about why he's still single - and said he hopes his facial hair will bring him luck in love.
"I've had a lot of girlfriends in my time," admitted Joey.
"I don't know if I'm the problem, or they're the problem. I don't know what the problem is.
"I'm very loving and caring person. I need to find what I'm about as well.
"I'm a difficult, complicated character too. I'm very picky.
"But I'm growing a beard now I think that might work.
"This is two or three weeks' growth. This the first time I have ever been on live TV with a beard, ever. "
Joey leaned into the camera to reveal his facial hair that he hopes will get him lucky out of lockdown.
Telling breakfast-show viewers how he plans to find a girlfriend, Joey added: "It doesn't really work when you slide into people's DMs.
"But this Valentine's Day I'm going to be sending some girls maybe random, maybe girls I've seen before, I'll be sending them some flowers."
Ben laughed at his "scattered approach", but Joey said it's his only option.
He defiantly added: "I'm going to find love, I believe in myself."
Joey appeared on the first series of Celebs Go Dating in 2016 and then asked the show's dating experts for help with his love life again in 2017.
The Essex native has moved into the luxury Surrey mansion where the new series was filmed.
He's been single since October when he parted ways with girlfriend Brenda Santos.
