‘Kid’s aren’t the problem…ex wives are’ Lionel Richie talks about having kids again at 67 – but rules out getting wed

Lionel Ritchie has sensationally revealed that he's still willing to have children with his other half...but has strictly ruled out marrying her.
The 67-year-old Dancing on the Ceiling crooner has been dating model Lisa Parigi for the past four years, and is now considering starting a family with her.
However, he has also said that he is ruling out getting hitched to the pretty young model, who is in her thirties, as he feels it is a "bad idea for men".
He told : "I've been there twice and it was very expensive for me.
"I've no idea to go there a third time - women have killed it for me.
"Kids aren't the problem - ex wives are.
"That's why I won't marry again, but I'm happy to commit in other ways."
Lionel currently has three children from his previous marriages - The Simple Life star Nicole, 34, Miles, 21, and Sofia, 17.
He married college sweetheart Brenda Harvey in 1975, but the pair divorced in 1993.
Lionel then went on to marry Diane Alexander shortly after in 1995, but split after eight years of marriage in 2004.
Since then he has vowed that marriage will be strictly off limits - which is just fine for Lisa, who has stated that she "didn't need marriage in order to validate their relationship" and is happy to see the world with the man she loves.
She previously said: "Lionel has been there twice and it was definitely a tough for him.
"I don’t need a ring to validate my relationship with him.
"What we already have is enough."
She then added: "Some girlfriends would get bored travelling the world, staying in hotels.
But Lionel and I always take the same candles, pillows and flowers so that we always feel at home wherever we go.
"That’s the secret to feeling based."
Now the pair look set to have a child of their own - something that Lionel had previously squashed.
Following Rolling Stones star having twins at 69, he said: "He can defy the laws of gravity.
"It would probably kill me."
Looks like he might now be giving his rock star buddy a call for some tips...
