‘You look like one of those dancing flowers’: Holly Willoughby teases Rylan Clark-Neal as he is dressed up as a daffodil
The presenter didn’t look very happy but soon saw the funny side
RYLAN Clark-Neal has jokingly slammed This Morning for making him dress up as a daffodil.
The TV presenter joined hosts Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield for his regular showbiz gossip segment and today he was in full bloom.
Not of his own doing though because the Essex lad was forced to wear a daffodil headdress as he teased his segment – and didn’t look very happy about.
The show threw its weight behind the Welsh football team as they face their first UEFA European Championships semi-final this evening by decorating the studio in red and green and with Welsh flags flying all around.
In an attempt to get their guest presenter into the spirit of it, as Holly and Phillip crossed to Rylan to announce to the viewers that he would be on their screens shortly, he appeared on the screen in the colourful fancy dress piece.
And the look on his face said it all as he scowled at the camera as Phillip laughed: “You little daffodil.”
Rylan scowled, “yeah, innit lovely?” as Holly teased: “Oh, look at you! You know what you look like – remember those plant pot things you used to get that you’d played music to and they’d dance? That’s what you look like!”
Rylan then started laughing and moving his arms up and down as he pretended to be one of those dancing flowers as Phillip added: “And if you’re really, really old, if I said… Little Weed!”

He then asked Rylan what he had for them today on his gossip slot and he answered: “Well, clearly the mick being taken out of me!”
Show bosses also tweeted Rylan’s fetching new look and shared a picture of him with the hashtag #LittleWeed, to which Rylan replied: “Let me do my job!”
Viewers also took to their pages on the social media site and one wrote: “Rylan could be the Welsh mascot!”
Another held up their dancing flower to the screen and snapped a photo which they posted and caption: “Aww twins! Sorry Rylan!”
