‘He’s the only dad he’s ever known’: Fans overjoyed by Peter Andre and Harvey Price’s emotional reunion after four year separation

PETER Andre's reunion with ex-stepson Harvey has delighted fans.

The Aussie crooner, 43, revealed that he has started spending time with Katie Price's eldest son again after four years apart.

Speaking to Now Magazine, he spoke fondly of the lad, who suffers from multiple disabilities.
He said: "He’s such a good-hearted boy.

“I see him a bit more now, which is amazing.”

The news has seen an outpouring of support for Pete, with thousands of fans commenting online about the good news.

One said: "Peter was always his dad and always will be.

"Peter loved that boy like his own and by God you could see it.

"In my eyes Peter Andre is Harvey dad and always will be. I'm a firm believer in its not about who plants the seed it's about those who love and grow that seed."

Another added: "Peter has always cared and Harvey's real dad is missing out on so much."

Another said: "How lovely he loved harvey and harvey loved him , it is so good to see this. I think Peter Andre is such a nice guy."

Peter helped raise Harvey - whose biological dad Dwight Yorke plays no part in his life - during his four year marriage to Katie.

But after they split, Pete stopped seeing the lad, now aged 14.

However he told the magazine that he continued to see him as his son.

“I always saw Harvey as my own," he said.

"There’s a special place in my heart for him – he’s very important to me and he’s always welcome.
“It’s just lovely to see him.”

The singer split from Katie in 2009, but is still a hands-on dad to their two children together, Junior, 11 and nine-year-old Princess.

He’s also father to two-year-old Amelia with second wife Emily Macdonagh, who is pregnant again.

The couple's split was incredibly bitter, but over the past year Katie and Peter have gone from loathing one another to calling some sort of truce.

She recently took her third husband Kieran Hayler to see Peter perform, and was pictured having a great time with Emily and the children.

However, not everyone sees the reunion between Pete and Harvey as another sign that relations between the warring exes have thawed, or that Katie is finally over the heartache of her first divorce.

Some believe that it's Kieran's decision to adopt the lad that has spurred Pete in to seeing him again, with the belief that he feels guilty about not taking legal responsibility for him when he had the chance.

Furthermore, plenty of people blamed Katie for keeping Pete and her eldest child apart, which fans of the glamour model were quick to shoot down.

One said: "I love all these katie would let Pete see Harvey comments!!

"She asked Pete if he wanted Harvey overnight when they first broke up - to which Pete replied - I haven't got a nanny that can deal with his needs yet.

"I'd refuse access if he's just going to be spending time with a bloody nanny!

"Pete is a smarmy p***k I really can't stand the bloke."
