RHOC’s Kelly Dodd demands stepdaughter Veronica ‘stop talking’ about her after she ripped star for mocking Covid and BLM
REAL Housewives Of Orange County's Kelly Dodd publicly demanded her stepdaughter Veronica "stops talking" about her.
Her plea comes after activist and social worker Veronica slammed the star for mocking the pandemic rules and Black Lives Matter.
Taking to Twitter, Kelly claimed the 29-year-old "won't answer her calls," so she "had to resort" to addressing her on social media.
Alongside four red heart emojis, she tweeted to her 200,000 followers: "We love you Veronica and we wish you would stop talking about us publicly...
"You won’t answer our calls. I have to resort to this tweet. thank you."
Fans have been quick to defend Veronica, who they feel has not done anything wrong by sharing her views in the public domain.
One tweeted: "'We love you' Gimme a break Kelly. You put her family on the world’s stage, said some really stupid stuff, and she had to respond.
"If she wants to handle her new found notoriety by using social media and not by talking to you, that’s her choice."
Another added: “'Stop talking about us publicly' she tweets publicly. #rhoc."
A third told 45-year-old Kelly: "You don't have to resort to this tweet. She's your step-daughter, surely there was a better way to handle this.
"As usual you run to social media which is what started this in the first place. Smh."
There are growing calls for Kelly to be dropped from RHOC after she made a series of controversial comments recently.
Over the past year, has come under fire for her , even calling it "God's way of thinning the herd” at one point.

A fortnight ago, she made a while out partying in a crowded New Port Beach restaurant with her husband, Rick Leventhal, and friends.
There were people cheering “no masks” at the party, along with cries of "screw Covid." Kelly later hit out to defend herself in a video, saying: “I’m getting a lot of hate because we're at a restaurant we’re allowed to be at. We’re allowed to be at a restaurant!”
The Bravo star continued to defend her joke, saying later: “I’m not a super spreader because there is nothing to spread. We all got the vaccine and we don’t have it.”

Meanwhile, in October, she also faced backlash for as many thought it was insensitive toward the Black Lives Matter movement, at her bridal shower.
Kelly's stepdaughter Veronica last week gave her opinion on the reality star, saying on Instagram Live: "I don’t think it’s OK for people who say that they’ve experienced racism or prejudice to then turn around and inflict the same bigotry on other people.
"I don’t think you can experience the privileges of whiteness and then turn around and deny that those privileges exist."
