Little People’s Jeremy and Audrey Roloff slammed as ‘irresponsible parents’ for keeping ‘dangerous’ AXE near son Bode, 1
LITTLE People, Big World’s Jeremy Roloff and wife Audrey were slammed as “irresponsible” parents for allowing their one-year-old son near AXE.
Fans of the TLC reality series claimed that the tool laying around the house close to their baby boy was “dangerous” and “didn’t make sense” due to fear of injury.
On Thursday, , 29, shared a clip on her Instagram stories that showed her newborn crawling on the ground of their Oregon home.
Just feet away from , one, was a sharp axe that rested against the house’s fireplace.
The baby was playing on the ground with no adults in arms reach as Audrey snapped the photo.
Her post quickly made its way to Reddit, where alarmed fans slammed .
One person wrote “always more danger,” and another responded, echoing: “always more irresponsible parenting.”
Another person said: “Jeesus!! I grew up in a home with a wood stove and never once did we have an axe inside. Who chops wood inside their house?
“I assume it’s probably and unsharpened one for ‘aesthetic’ but even still, now they’re teaching their kids it’s ok to touch an axe!”
“What I don't get is why it's there to start with. You can't tell me they hack up firewood inside with their nice floors and furniture. Why isn't it outside? Doesn't make sense to me,” one more asked asked.
While a fourth responded: “Me either! We have an axe that my husband uses to chop up the larger pieces of wood. He always does it outside. Never inside.”
, 30, and Audrey got hitched in 2014 and in addition to Bode, they also share daughter Ember together.
This isn’t the first time the red-haired mom-of-two was this week.

The podcast host took to Instagram to share a snap of her sister smiling at the indoor venue seated next to others.
She captioned the smiling photo: "Went wine tasting yesterday for my sister's half birthday cause she's always looking for a reason to celebrate.”
However, fans were not impressed, with one calling "proudly moronic.”
"Going on a wine tour maskless during a pandemic to celebrate an... adult’s half birthday?" questioned another.
"It’s the going to a winery in the middle of a pandemic to celebrate a half birthday for me," criticized a third.
One fan chose to play devil's advocate though, and shared that in New York's wine country "you need a reservation for a tasting (to keep capacity down)" and that "during the tasting you can remove your mask, so this was probably taken before she put the mask back on.”

The family, who live in Portland, Oregn, traveled throughout the Pacific Northwest to visit Jeremy's sister, Molly, in Spokane, Washington.
