Sophie Gradon ‘quits Love Island’ after dumping Katie to get back with Welsh hunk Tom
Reality beauty said that she was 'done' and that she wants Tom back in her life
LOVE Island's Sophie Gradon quit Love Island today after the islanders were told what viewers really thought of them.
In scenes aired tonight, Sophie was tearful as she realised the impact her kiss with Katie Salmon might have had on the public's view of her.
The former Miss Great Britain had hooked up with new islander Katie just hours after boyfriend Tom Powell was booted from the island.
One negative tweet read: "Sophie slated Terry for doing what he done to Malin yet she's going to do the exact same."
After hearing the viewer comments, an upset Sophie said: "Right, that’s it for me. I’m done. Yeah, I’m going to ask [if I can leave]. I cannot do this, it’s just too much of a mind-f***. It’s not worth it. It’s not worth losing Tom over. I can’t lose Tom, I can’t."
She then went on to split up with Katie, despite only pairing up with her a day before.
Sophie said: "It’s not fair to couple up with someone who’s potentially interested in taking things further," she added. "I don’t want to do something that I regret and ruin my relationship with Tom. I want him."
Her comments left Katie brokenhearted - particularly when Sophie said she should have a go at dating islander Adam Maxted.
But after being given some time to think about her position, the brunette beauty decided to stay for the last week.
