Scarlett Moffatt installs ‘Covid-friendly’ toilet in her dream home – saying it’s just for her family
SCARLETT Moffatt has put a special 'Covid-safe' toilet in her house for her family to use.
The former Gogglebox star, 30, and boyfriend Scott Dobson have started a huge renovation process on their brand new property.
The couple purchased their "forever home" after the reality star sold her Bishop Auckland pad for just £400,000 back in December.
Since then Scarlett has launched an Instagram page named Our Bonnie Barn to share updates on her new property's transformation over the next few months.
The telly favourite told her fans that she plans to have her friends and family round when things return to normal.
The star shared a snap of her newly decorated downstairs bathroom - and it looks like Scarlett has gone the extra mile to ensure her bathroom remains Covid-free.
Alongside the photo, she wrote: "Downstairs toilet complete. Now when life goes back to normal we love having family and friends round the house so this toilet is Covid friendly.
"The flush and taps are on sensors so people don’t need to touch anything in the bathroom 🧽🤍 the things we have to think about now 🤣."
A number of fans flocked to comment praising Scarlett for her "genius" idea and for thinking ahead.
One wrote: "Love this idea! I will definitely be doing the same for my bathroom."
Another posted: "I'm not the only one who thinks sensor taps are a good iea in the downstairs loo."
A third wrote: "That's genius Scarlett, love seeing the progress on your forever home."
The pair have totally transformed the kitchen into a stunning cooking space.
They have opted for some light blue cupboards contrasted against white quartz worktops and their utility room follows a very similar vibe.
They've also decided to put in a stone cladding wall to separate their snug area from the kitchen and make it feel more "barny".
Earlier this week, Scarlett revealed that they've finally chosen what tiles they're going to put down on the floor with a picture on the account.
She told her 88.6k followers: "Excuse the no make up and cheesy grin but another small victory we’ve chosen our tiles.
"Can’t wait to stick some flip flops on and pretend I’m walking to the hotel reception (love the sound of flip flops on tiles ha) need some advice on what’s the best way to clean them?"
Scarlett's first ever post on the account shared the lush countryside view from the property.
She wrote at the time: "It may look like a mud pile right now but this is the view from our forever home.
Scarlett has been dating police officer Scott for almost two years and they moved in together in 2019.
