Devastated EastEnders star Max Bowden shares tribute to top celebrity agent Terry Mills after his death from Covid
DEVASTATED EastEnders actor Max Bowden has revealed his friend and top celebrity agent Terry Mills has lost his battle with coronavirus.
The TV star, who plays Ben Mitchell on the BBC One soap, shared his heartache in a lengthy tribute on Instagram after discovering Terry, 38, died after fighting Covid in Mexico.
Max, 26, spoke of his "wonderful friend" in a passionate post and said that Terry had supported him through dark times in his life.
The shattered star wrote: "I will love you until my last breath. You took me in when no one else would have me. You looked after me, and protected me when I was at my lowest. You nurtured me and helped me see light.
"You sprayed my feet when they were stinking out the house. All you did was care about the people you loved. When things got bad, we’d cuddle each other on that sofa in Marylebone like two toddlers, and tell each other we’ve got this.
"You battled everything, daily, and won. And this time this c**t of a virus got you. But you still fought. I don’t know a life without you. I don’t want a life without you. But I know you’ll be with me.
The actor also shared memories of his good times with Terry, remembering when he welcomed his family with open arms at the National Television Awards.
He went on: "You made my family feel like they were the only people in the world. I will never forget when you ran down the red carpet at the NTAs to make my Nan feel like a queen.
"The last messages we sent each other before you fell ill, were that we loved each other. And I always will Tel. Thank you for every thing you gave me. My life will never be the same. Sleep well, my wonderful friend. 💔"
Last month Max begged fans to donate to a page for Terry, who was fighting for his life in a hospital in Cancun, Mexico.
Max had already donated £500 to the fundraiser, with Kate Ferdinand also among the big-hearted stars to have put their hands in their pockets - donating £1,000.
The fundraiser has already raised £45,000.
Terry Mills was one of the best known and beloved celebrity agents in the business, looking after the likes of Towie star Yazmin Oukhellou, Gogglebox’s Amy Tapper, and Callum Izzard from ITV2’s Ibiza Weekender.

His friend Sarah set up the GoFundMe, where she explained that Terry was struck down with Covid, which had developed into pneumonia, while on a business trip to Mexico.
She wrote Terry’s insurance did not cover beyond the first 24 hours and his family had been told his best chance of survival is to be placed in an induced coma.
Terry was receiving oxygen and antibiotics but his condition worsened, and doctors said he needed to be put on a ventilator for his best chance of survival.
Other EastEnders stars who supported the cause included Natalie Cassidy, Letitia Dean, and Gillian Taylforth.
