GEORGIA Steel wasn't ready to come straight home after weeks of holidaying in Dubai and so she jetted off to the Maldives for another luxury break.

The former Love Island contestant escaped to the South Asian island days before a travel ban was enforced in the UK.

Georgia, 22, who has so far spent lockdown in the UAE like many reality TV stars, extended her holiday as she travelled onward to the Maldives.

The reality star jetted off in mid-January just days before the UK enforced a travel ban, meaning all those entering the country must isolate for ten days.

She revealed her latest travel destination on Instagram, tagging herself at a luxury hotel resort and writing: "It's the inner peace for me".

Georgia is just one of many influencers seemingly flouting Covid 'stay at home' rules by flying across the globe for 'work' related purposes.

Staying at the Velassaru resort, where prices start at a mind-blowing £300 a night, Georgia has given fans a sneak peek into her luxurious trip.

Snaps of the resort show an expanse of wooden villas on the water, some fit with private pools and jacuzzis as well as easy access to the ocean.

The reality star has been spotted posing on the hotel tennis courts and lying on the grand marble entrance steps as part of the holiday.

One snap saw Georgia go topless and flaunt her side-boob, much to the disgrace of locals and their strict anti-nudity rules as an Islamic Country.

But it's not the only reason Georgia has faced backlash - despite dubbing the trip as "work" and therefore allowed under Government guidelines.

Some fans have taken to the Instagram comments section to share their upset over the influencer flaunting her travelling during the pandemic.

"Influencers: we are all in this together, but also influencers: this," wrote one woman under a photo of Georgia posing in a wet t-shirt in the sea.

Another chimed in: "Do we're just not in a global pandemic, huh? Shouldn't have gone in the first place. No respect."

"Another days hard work for you, Georgia?" one man sarcastically wrote. "Must be amazing to have a life without rules. People are dying and you're showing your a*** off."

A fourth agreed: "Thousand of people are dying and you're taking pictures of yourself half naked and swanning about. There's a pandemic going on, you know."

Many discussed unfollowing Georgia in the comments, jokingly thanking her for her "hard work in the pandemic" while others remained at home.

It didn't stop the star from updating her remaining fans everyday with more snapshots of her trip - releasing a vlog with pal Joanna Chimonedes.

Georgia spent much of her time in bikinis as she took fans around various spots at the resort, including hotel rooms overlooking the crystal clear waters.

Frequently posing on the beach with white sand around her, Georgia told fans how her inner "peace was very important".

She flaunted her figure in a series of barely-there bikinis, often with tiny thong-style backs to show off her perky posterior.

Georgia previously explained on Instagram that the work related trip had been planned long ago and that she was grateful it could go ahead.

Georgia's trip may be overshadowed as she returns to the UK, having to isolate for ten days - and provide evidence of a negative test result.

Arrivals who flout rules will face a minimum £500 fine, while the flight operator who transported them will also be fined.
