Dancing on Ice’s Colin Jackson’s famous sister revealed as Casualty star Suzanne Packer
DANCING on Ice star Colin Jackson's famous sister has been revealed to be Casualty star Suzanne Packer.
Colin, who opened the show last night in spectacular style, is the younger brother of the star of the BBC1 hospital drama.
The Olympic champ, 53, is very close to his sister Suzanne, who played Tess Bateman in the BBC One medical drama.
Suzanne, 58, was on the show from September 2003 to August 2015 and later returned to the series as a guest for the 30th anniversary episodes.
Since leaving Casualty, she has appeared in shows including Bang, In My Skin and The Pembrokeshire Murders.
The famous brother and sister, who often go on family holidays together, have teamed up to work together before.
They joined the BBC Radio Wales team back in 2018 to co-present Sunday Morning.
Dancing on Ice star Colin said at the time: "It’s lovely to be back on BBC Radio Wales, where I started my broadcasting career.
"It’ll be a bit strange having my big sister sat opposite me but we get on so well, it’s going to be really fun."
Suzanne added: "Colin and I live around the corner from each other, and we’re really close, so I want the show to sound like we’re just sitting down and having a good old gossip."
Meanwhile The Sun Online revealed the real reason Welshman Colin’s not dancing with another man on the show.
He told the Sun Online: "I get on better with women, to be honest."
Colin, who came out as gay at 50, has opened up about his decision not to dance with a man on Dancing on Ice.
Speaking exclusively to the Sun Online, Colin, who is paired up with brunette pro skater Klabera Komini, said: "I could have danced with a man on DOI. But I didn't want to.
"I get on better with women to be honest. Me and my dance partner Klabera have an absolute blast. We are giggling all the time - and sharing too many sweets - mainly wine gums! "
