ANASTACIA is the latest celeb to sign up for the next Strictly, The Sun on Sunday can reveal.

Show bosses are convinced the 47-year-old American singer, whose global breakthrough hit was the 2000 single I’m Outta Love, will be a big draw on the dancefloor.

Anastacia is said to be delighted to be part of the line-up for the BBC show. She hopes her stint on Strictly – which is one of the highlights of this autumn’s TV schedules – will help her relaunch her career in the UK.

A source close to the star said: “Anastacia is on tour at the moment but she is incredibly excited about appearing on Strictly in a few months’ time.

“BBC bosses are also very pleased to have her on board, as they are sure the British public will really warm to her.”

Other names already linked to the new series include The One Show’s roving reporter Angellica Bell, Sun writer Judge Rinder and former I’m A Celebrity  presenter Laura Whitmore.

Anastacia’s spokesman last night kept tight lipped.

A BBC spokesman said: “We do not comment on speculation.”
