MODEL Abbey Clancy was left terrified after coming face to face with burglars at her holiday villa.
The star, 30, was woken up in the night by noises at her luxury pad in the South of France.
She was there with friends as husband Peter Crouch was working as a Euro 2016 football pundit for ITV in Paris.
When Abbey and a pal went downstairs to investigate, they discovered two men rifling through their belongings.
Abbey and her friend screamed and the intruders fled empty handed in Antibes on Monday.
But sources close to Abbey said last night the ordeal had left her badly shaken.
One said: “Abbey seemed quite traumatised. She can’t stop thinking about what could have happened to them if they hadn’t woken up or if the burglars had been armed.
“Peter has been commuting between Paris and Antibes, but he was in Paris at the time.
“He was horrified someone had broken into the villa and extremely relieved Abbey and her pals were okay. Luckily, Abbey was due to fly to the UK on
Tuesday, so she didn’t have to stay in a villa where she would not have felt safe.”
