Freshly tattooed Johnny Depp puts Amber Heard divorce nightmare behind him as he smiles for the cameras at US gig
The actor has replaced his wife's tattoo nickname 'slim' with the word 'scum' as he continues his tour
ROCKER Johnny Depp smiled up a storm as he headed to a gig with his band The Hollywood Vampires last night appearing to put the drama over his acrimonious divorce from Amber Heard behind him.
And the 53-year-old actor has apparently got himself a new ink editing a tattoo on his knuckles that was dedicated to Amber's nickname 'Slim' by changing the word to 'Scum.'
Eagle-eyed fans noticed Johnny reworked the L to a C and the I to a U in the past week leaving them pondering the meaning of his body art.
And it's not the first time Johnny's tattoos were amended due to the nature of his relationship status.
In 1989, when he was dating Winona Ryder, he had a tattoo that read "WinonaForever."
But when that relationship fizzled in 1993, he changed it to "WinoForever."
The Pirates of the Caribbean star waved to fans as he smoked what appeared to be a cigar as he and bandmate Joe Perry made their way into the Sands Casino in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania.
Johnny has remained tight-lipped over the divorce and through his lawyers managed to avoid a last minute clash at court with his 30-year-old wife on June 16.
Just 24 hours before the showdown actress Amber hit back at claims she was a gold digger blaming a ‘false and negative’ media campaign for diverting the public’s attention from her plight and insisting she is a ‘victim’ of domestic violence.

And she revealed in court papers that she could have asked judges to give her almost $1m a month to sustain her lifestyle due to her husband’s sizeable pay packet.
The couple had been scheduled to appear in the Superior Court in the State of California but the date was called off at the last minute.
Since then they've been keeping a relatively low profile and seemingly have come to some sort of arrangement to settle the case which has been one of the ugliest divorces in Hollywood's recent history.
Amber previously released photos that purported to show a bruised face and she was also seen with marks when she attended court as part of the divorce battle.
Before her lawyers agreed to postpone the court date until August 2, Amber had declared that she could have asked Johnny to grant her £669,239 per month – the maximum allowed by law.
She insisted she only asked for five per cent of his annual income to live on.
Ms Heard also hit back at those who questioned her motives after she filed for a restraining order against Mr Depp while asking the judge to grant her £35,000 a month.
She said she believed that her naivety had been “used against me by the media to distract and divert the public away from the very serious real issue of domestic violence.”
Amber also apparently called police after Johnny’s staff came to the couple’s home to remove his belongings last month.
The couple had been married since February 2015 but their relationship broke down in May when the actress filed for divorce.
In May, Johnny's lawyers refuted Amber's claims of domestic abuse and his spokesman issued the following statement.
It read: “Given the brevity of this marriage and the most recent and tragic loss of his mother, Johnny will not respond to any of the salacious false stories, gossip, misinformation and lies about his personal life.
“Hopefully the dissolution of this short marriage will be resolved quickly.”
