Nick Knowles’ estranged wife Jessica diagnosed with cervical cancer — aged just 28

THE estranged wife of DIY SOS star Nick Knowles has been diagnosed with cancer at 28.

Jessica, who has a one-year-old son Eddie with the TV presenter, broke the news saying she is hopeful she can be treated with surgery.

In her blog she wrote: “After a brief period of being unwell I was diagnosed, this week, with cervical cancer.

“Following on from a difficult year it has forced me to put a lot of things in perspective and really brought to light what matters — my health and Eddie.”

She added in the Hello! blog: “It has been caught early and we are hopeful I can be treated with surgery.”

Jessica also added she would be taking a break from social media to focus on her health.

She said: "So, for a brief while, I'm switching off - from blogging and social media to be present with friends and family and to get better - before finishing off what will undoubtedly be an amazing year (I'm due break :P ).

Jessica and Nick, 53, announced their separation earlier this year.
