Phoebe Waller-Bridge earns £7m in just ONE year after success of Fleabag, Killing Eve and Bond job
FLEABAG’S Phoebe Waller-Bridge made £007million for her work on the new James Bond film.
The British actress and writer took home the huge cheque after being hired to improve the screenplay for No Time To Die.
It has cemented the 35-year-old’s status as the darling of Hollywood — after winning two Golden Globes last year for her black comedy BBC series Fleabag.
A movie insider said: “This really is a landmark moment for her which makes her one of the world’s most sought after talents in TV and movies.
“Phoebe’s £7million earnings are a reflection of just how far she’s come over the past five years, and a sign of her huge potential to earn tens of millions in the future.
“TV and film producers have been scrambling to sign her up, now they’ll have to come up with even more lucrative deals.”
Phoebe has already agreed a deal said to be worth £15million to create and produce shows for Amazon Prime Video.
Despite being a posh girl born and raised in West London, she spent most of her twenties out of work and “broke, demoralised and angry.”
After getting small roles in movie The Iron Lady and the second series of ITV thriller Broadchurch, she got her big break when she adapted her Fleabag stage play into a series for the BBC in 2016.
Then she adapted spy drama Killing Eve for BBC America in 2018.

Both hits helped convince Daniel she should work on the screenplay for No Time To Die — which is set to be released later this year after the pandemic delayed its premiere.
007 star Daniel, 52, said of Phoebe: “She’s just brilliant.
"We’re very privileged to have her on board.”
