Sallie Axl oozes glamour in picture taken moments after given birth to ‘truly beautiful’ little girl
The Big Brother star introduces daughter Savannah-Blu to the world
SALLIE Axl has given birth to a “truly beautiful” daughter, named Savannah-Blu, and shared her joy on her Instagram account in a glamourous post-birth picture.
The Big Brother star uploaded the shot from her hospital bed, looking pristine and cuddling her new-born.
In a sweet post, the 29-year-old wrote: “Today the beautiful; Savannah-Blu was born at 11.28am weighing 5pounds 8 . I have had the most amazing birth with her.
“She is truly beautiful.
“I would love to say a massive thank you to all the midwifed/doctors.
“She will be in an incubator till tomorrow but she is completely perfect and has given me and her family so many cuddles.”
In another upload, the besotted DJ added: “So amazing having her in my life.
“This was today just after she was born. Had a very special day with her .
“She is unreal.
“My little auburn princess #mummy’s #little #girl (sic)”
This is a second daughter for Sallie, who is also mum to five-year-old Nirvana, and the pregnancy has had some difficult moments.
She recently took to Twitter to announce her split with Savannah-Blu’s father, whose identity she had kept secret.
She wrote: “I started a new chapter today … I wiped away any love I had for someone and completely cleared my mind.”
“I also viewed a new home .. Taking steps #I have #a #plan.
“Casually moving forward with my life … Never rely on anyone but yourself , getting let down this much this pregnant is so hard.
“But moving forward is essential . Days will be bad and down .. But keep it moving . I’m so glad I’m such a strong soul.
Savannah-Blu’s birth comes almost a year after the DJ shared on Facebook that she had had a miscarriage and suffered terrible treatment during her hospital stay.
In a length Facebook post, she wrote: “On the 17th of July I received my dead baby at hospital in a box and a plastic bag… !! With that another bag of medicines and sent on my way home to grieve.
“My dead baby was treated no more than someone handing me over a takeaway. This is the first time I have been able to talk about this as my ordeal was disgusting in Manchester.”
“I was rushed into hospital at seven weeks as I had suffered a miscarriage losing my little angel.
“The hospital didn’t remove my child and left the baby to infect me causing me to have a Type IV haemorrhage, losing 40% of my blood, my veins collapsing and taken into emergency surgery.
“When I woke up in a blood-stained bed and gown it took days for the nurses to change them, leaving me in the remainders of the miscarriage and blood all over the floor.
The post concluded: “I have only started coming to terms with this ordeal and will finally be laying her to rest this week. Please stop this happening in hospitals. It just about ruined my life.
“Thank God I have my beautiful daughter Nirvana to see me through these times. NHS you should be ashamed!!”
