Amanda Holden strips to red swimsuit for a dip in her hot tub – and vows to keep Christmas decorations up until February

AMANDA Holden showed off her figure in a red swimsuit last night as she took a late dip in her hot tub with a glass of red wine.

The Britain's Got Talent judge, 49, perched on the edge and was illuminated by a huge Christmas tree in her garden.

Responding to Prime Minister Boris Johnson plunging the country into a new lockdown, Amanda wrote: "FYI. The Queen doesn't take her decorations down until Candlemas (Feb 2nd) After last night's news - I think we may have a huge argument for keeping them up."

Candlemas is a Christian holy day to commemorate Jesus's induction into Judaism. The New Testament's Gospel of Luke says the event took place in a Jerusalem temple.

Meanwhile the latest coronavirus restrictions follow the discovery of a mutation which is up to 70 per cent more transmissible.

In a bid to slow the spread, Mr Johnson has closed all schools and non-essential shops for at least six weeks.

Last week Amanda wished her Instagram followers a happy New Year by going topless in her tub.

She wore nothing but pair of bikini bottoms that read "bye bye 2020".

The star had a large bottle of Champagne cooling off in an ice bucket, and she raised a glass to toast the end of a horrible year.

And cheekily, she posted: "Bottoms up 😂."

Piers Morgan commented with three laughter emojis, while Catherine Tyldesley posted fire ones.

It was a naughty festive season for Amanda, who flashed her cleavage and leg in a revealing gown days before Christmas.

She even gave Santa Claus an eyeful as she posed with him for a sexy snap.

The star showcased her outfit for the Britain's Got Talent Christmas Spectacular and penned: "Hope  brought you joy this day xx"

Pal and fellow judge Alesha Dixon was quick to comment, writing: "Like a fine wine."

While another fan wrote: "Yum!"
