I’m not getting any younger…so I want a new husband and baby in 2021, says Katie Price
IT’S been another year from hell for Katie Price.
After being declared bankrupt and spending time in The Priory, she broke both her feet in a freak holiday accident and her 29st disabled son Harvey was hospitalised and nearly died.

And that is all without the raging mutant virus . . .
Incredibly though, Katie, 42, has managed to transform her life — becoming teetotal and quitting drugs — and will end the year on a positive note after finding happiness with hunky toyboy Carl Woods, 31.
Earlier this year she finally kissed goodbye to her “cursed” mucky mansion — where her animals kept dying and she had lived with her exes — and moved to a plush new home in Surrey.
And this month she took things up another level and moved into Carl’s home, spending their first Christmas together with all five of Katie’s children, Harvey, 18, Junior, 15, Princess, 13, Jett, seven, and six-year-old Bunny.

The pair hit it off in June after being introduced by mutual friend Rochelle, the owner of celeb haunt Sheesh in Chigwell, Essex — and in true Pricey style, she has not taken things slowly.
Despite three costly divorces, the former model is already planning her fourth wedding and sixth child.
Speaking exclusively to The Sun with Essex car dealer Carl, who appeared on ITV’s Love Island in 2016, Katie reveals that all she really wants for 2021 is a husband and a baby.
“I’m not getting any younger . . . I do look younger as I get older but you know what I mean,” she says. It’s all happened really fast but I know Carl is the man for me. He’s The One and I couldn’t be happier — look at me!

Unfortunately there was no ring under the tree, but Carl confesses he has got one, already planned the whole thing and knows the very moment he will propose.
Katie is thrilled and her face lights up while he teases her with the secret plans, but Carl is staying schtum on the date for now.
“And remember, the engagement ring tells people exactly what kind of man you are,” she warns. “It’s got to be really big and sparkly — I like the bling.”

After everything she has been through this year, it is no wonder Katie cannot wait to wave her old life goodbye and become the new Mrs Katie Woods.
Just days ago she finalised her divorce from ex Kieran Hayler, 33, and is now free to wed again. It will hopefully be fourth time lucky, but she may have a little while longer to wait as a festive proposal is not Carl’s style.
“I always knew he was never going to do it at Christmas because it’s too cliché,” Katie says.
“He’d warned me it wasn’t going to happen and he says it won’t happen in the next few weeks either — but it will be in 2021 and I can’t wait. Carl is really close to Junior and he knows he has to ask him for his permission to marry me. I think he’s already done it.”

Carl adds: “She asks me every day when I’m going to propose but it will never be expected. It will be when she’s got no f*ing idea. “I know what I’m going to do — it’s planned, and she’ll be in tears. And when we marry it’ll be like nothing ever done before.”
For now, Katie is happy with the knowledge she will “definitely cry” as Carl proposes, and the engagement will give them both something to look forward to in 2021.
Katie has not looked back since hitting it off with her “rock” Carl, putting her boozy and drug-fuelled antics well and truly behind her. In fact, she has just had her first sober Christmas.
Last year was a completely different story as she fell to an all-time low and turned to cocaine to help her cope with failed relationships, her mum’s ill health and financial struggles.
I know what I’m going to do — it’s planned, and she’ll be in tears. And when we marry it’ll be like nothing ever done before.

She was banned from driving for two years after being twice over the limit and refusing to tell cops who was behind the wheel when her pink Range Rover crashed.
A couple of months later she was fined £415 and banned from contacting ex Kieran’s fiancée, Michelle Penticost, after using abusive and threatening language during a playground spat.
In a desperate effort to turn her life around she sought help at The Priory for PTSD. She says: “I was very ill, very vulnerable — not like I am now — and I had to get help and I stuck to it.
"When I kept saying I’m a new person, everyone was like, ‘Yeah, you can’t be a new person just because you’ve been in The Priory for five weeks’, but it’s not a playground where you just hang around and do nothing. You are in sessions six days a week from eight till six every day.

"And you see doctors on top of that. Actions speak louder than words and I’ve done it. I’ve proved I could change and I knew when I came out that I would be the perfect person for someone to be with.”
Straight-talking Carl, who has never been a boozer, has been Katie’s rock ever since they met, and he is determined to keep her on the straight and narrow. He has told Katie he will not stand for a return to her partying ways as alter-ego Jordan, who Katie now insists she “hates”.
With everything she has faced this year, the star is proud she has not fallen back into her old ways to help her deal with her troubles. In fact, she says it makes her “sick” thinking about what she used to get up to. Recalling her past, Katie wrote a letter to cocaine.
She says: “I wrote a powerful letter because they make you do that to your demons. I don’t even think about doing it now. It makes me feel sick. “I’ll be the best person now. What I mean is, I’m focused and back to normal.

“I’ve started working again and it’s going well. I’m happy and the kids have seen a difference. I used to love a Tia Maria and Coke on Christmas Day, or a porn star martini, and I didn’t even think about it.
“But there’s no alcohol in my house at all, we don’t drink. This is just the new normal for me. I look back to how I was, and I would never ever wish that on anyone. I never knew when I’d had enough and I’d become all exhibitionist — I don’t ever want to be like that again.
“I’ve grown, I’m stronger and I don’t need to run away or numb my emotions any more. It’s been a bad year for a lot of people, but for me it’s been a good year because I’ve met Carl and I sorted myself out.”
This time last year Katie was completely skint after being declared bankrupt. But the ex-model made sure it was a Christmas to remember for the kids, with Santa cramming her home full of presents.

Katie laughs: “The house looked like a grotto. I don’t think we’ve seen so many presents, but that’s what happens when you have five kids. I couldn’t even get in the living room.”
Katie was also relieved to have Harvey at home with her for Christmas. Disabled Harvey, who suffers from a genetic condition that means he never feels fully fed, spent weeks in intensive care earlier this year. Doctors warned he was in a “perilous condition” when suffering from breathing problems and a temperature of 42 degrees in July.
Katie says: “Harvey was on the phone saying, ‘Mum, where are you? I miss you, I need you, I want cuddles’. It was so heartbreaking, I hated it. I rang him every day on FaceTime.”
Doctors warned he was at risk of a coma or heart attack due to his escalating weight problems. Thankfully, Harvey tested negative for coronavirus and made a full recovery from what was described as a complex medical condition.

Katie has now transformed a room in Carl’s house into a gym for Harvey to exercise in after doctors warned he would die if he did not lose weight. So what did Harvey eat for Christmas? “Oh, everything!” says Carl.
Katie adds: “Well, there was no point giving him a Christmas dinner as he won’t eat peas or vegetables — he never eats my roast dinners and he just flicks the peas on the floor. We all had pizza because we couldn’t get any food shopping delivered in time.
“And to be honest, I couldn’t be bothered to slave away in the kitchen and Carl can’t cook. I just wanted to enjoy the day with the kids. It was absolute chaos. You can imagine the scenes with five kids and three dogs. Carl is so OCD he was terrified every time someone opened a present.
“We got a new puppy, Sid, and he did a wee on the carpet about the size of a 50p and Carl had his industrial carpet machine out.”
We all had pizza because we couldn’t get any food shopping delivered in time.

Carl laughs and says: “Yeah, that’s normal. I don’t want dog p**s all over my house.”
Katie continues: “We had some Morrisons mince pies and watched The Snowman and Home Alone — the usual things. We loved it.”

Despite the chaos at Carl’s this year, Katie is hoping next year will be even busier if she gets her Christmas wish.

“My sister is having a baby too next year and I’ll get my driving licence back soon,” she says.
“I’ve got so much to look forward to in 2021 — I’ve got a new life now and I could not be happier.”
