Lord Alan Sugar reveals his sister has died ‘of Covid’ two weeks after his brother died
LORD Alan Sugar's sister has died of coronavirus just two weeks after his brother tragically died from the bug, he revealed this morning.
The 73-year-old Apprentice star paid tribute to his sister Shirley, saying "covid got her in the end" after their brother Derek passed away.

The 73-year-old tweeted this morning: "My eldest sister Shirley passed away today at the age of 88 she had been sick for a while but I guess covid got her in the end to join our brother Derek who passed 2 weeks ago.
"RIP SHIRL."
The business magnate shared a photograph of his older sister, showing her smiling.
It is unclear if Shirley was living in the UK when she sadly passed away.
The current death toll in the UK from coronavirus is 71,567.
The tragic news comes just two weeks after Lord Sugar revealed his brother Derek was also killed by the virus.
The 73-year-old Apprentice star paid tribute to Derek as he shared a picture of his sibling with fans.
He wrote: "My brother Derek died today another victim of Covid which complicated his underlying health problems.
"He was a life long Spurs fan and my sister in law made me laugh in 1991 thanking me for buying Spurs for him.
"He will be sadly missed by the whole family. RIP BRO."
'FOLLOW THE RULES'
Lord Sugar has previously spoken out about coronavirus and has spent much of lockdown in Florida.
During the lockdown, he has urged people to follow government guidelines and said the UK has handled the pandemic better than the US.
He said: “It’s the irresponsible people out there who are not paying attention to the rules. And the rules are good rules, they’re not stupid rules."
In September, Lord Sugar hit out at "unfair" criticism of the Government's reaction to Covid-19, hailing Chancellor Rishi Sunak's response.
"But I do think they need to demand that people come back to offices and support the City, support the economy," he said at the time.
"The City is suffering as there are no workers there, so until they really push to get more people there it will continue to look like a ghost town."
The business mogul has earned his money through a string of business ventures, most notably founding Amstrad, a computer and electronics company, in 1968.
At the height of its success, Amstrad alone was worth an estimated £1.2billion, however, it was sold in 2007 to BSkyB for £125million.
On top of this, he runs Amsprop alongside his son, Daniel Sugar, who acts as MD for Amsprop Estates.
Alan Michael Sugar was born 24 March 1947, in Hackney, East London.
The 71-year-old married Ann Simons, the aunt of former EastEnders star Rita Simons, on April 28, 1968, and the two recently celebrated their golden wedding anniversary together.
In 2019, The Sunday Times Rich List estimated Lord Sugar's net worth at £1.21billion.
