Katie Price claims dragging divorce from ex Kieran Hayler ‘felt like years of mental abuse’ as she looks to marry Carl
KATIE Price has claimed her long-winded divorce from ex Kieran Hayler felt like "years of mental abuse".
The Sun revealed today that the former couple's marriage will finally be over by the end of the year, leaving Katie free to wed her new man Carl Woods.
But the two-year wait to officially end the marriage has been tough for Katie, who made her feelings known on Instagram this afternoon.
Sharing our story, she wrote: "Finally I will be officially released from something that caused me years of mental abuse and FINALLY can't wait to be Mrs Woods one day as Carl Woods I know is and will be PERFECT like he has consistently from day one."

Katie, 42, and Kieran, 33, split in March 2018 after five years of marriage, but the final papers are only now being filed.
Both have been vocal in their desire for things to speed along, with Kieran engaged to girlfriend Michelle Penticost and keen to wed again.
A source explained: "The final fees have been paid and the paperwork has all been signed off.
"She was hoping to be single for Christmas, but allowing for delays over the festive season, she should be free and single by New Year's Eve."
And Katie's rep confirmed in a statement to The Sun: "This is the case - they're waiting for the decree absolute to drop through the letter box"
Katie recently told pals what she most wants for Christmas is a divorce.
And the timing couldn't be better for Katie as she's now free to marry Carl.
The car dealer already splashed out on a £10k ring for his girlfriend in October.

And he also referred to Katie's mum Amy as his "mother-in-law" for a sweet birthday tribute.
Katie also took Carl's last name as she posed with matching his 'n' hers suitcases at the airport recently, with the loved-up couple heading to the Maldives for a lavish "baby-making holiday".
Then earlier this month Carl, 31, revealed he’ll ask Katie's son Junior Andre for permission to marry his mum.
The Essex boy lad is desperate to make Katie his wife and start a family with her, but won't propose before Junior, 15, gives him the green light.
Speaking exclusively to The Sun, he said: "When I’m gonna ask Kate to marry me, I will ask Junior’s permission, and that will be important to Junior. I've always said that to him when me and Junior have spoken about it."
