Serial womaniser Russell Brand to get married again – this time to long-term girlfriend Laura Gallacher

HIS marriage to KATY PERRY only lasted 14 months – but that hasn’t put RUSSELL BRAND off getting hitched for a second time.

The serial womaniser and former Bizarre Shagger of the Year has popped the question to long-term girlfriend Laura Gallacher.

The couple shared the news with a small group of family and friends at a “hippy-style” gathering at their house over the weekend, which comes just weeks after The Sun revealed they are expecting a baby.

It means Russell is all but certain to beat ex-wife Katy down the aisle as she struggles to hold down a long- term relationship, her latest boyfriend being Brit actor ORLANDO BLOOM.

A source said: “Russell didn’t want a big fuss this time after his very public relationship with Katy.

“Laura is also keen to keep their romance low-key, so the small, intimate party was very much in keeping with their ‘homebods’ image.

“As they are becoming parents, Russell wanted to do the right thing and make Laura his wife.

“She’s delighted he asked.”

The couple are old pals and previously dated in 2007 and 2009.

They rekindled their relationship last year on a romantic break in Rome and moved in together over the New Year.

Laura, who is six months pregnant, is the younger sister of Sky Sports presenter KIRSTY GALLACHER who attended their intimate party with pals including former Footballers’ Wives star SUSIE AMY.

Guests mingled with the couple’s animals, which included a giant tortoise called Turbo, at their riverside property in Henley-on-Thames, Oxfordshire.

Like his relationship, Russell has kept a low profile over the past year after a turbulent time in his career.

He’s clearly more suited to enga-ging in marriage than politics.
