I’m A Celebrity superfan builds 15ft replica of Gwrych Castle which completely covers his bungalow
I’M A Celebrity fan Bill Parry shows off his own Gwrych Castle — covering his home.
He used scaffolding and timber to form the 15ft facade, which includes life-size models of hosts Ant and Dec, fake spiders and a Santa scaling the walls.
Plumbing and heating engineer Bill, 57, of Prestatyn, North Wales, built it with the help of son Josh, 28, who lives next door.
Their castle — ten miles from the real one — is raising money for a hospice.
Bill said: “We wanted to give people a lift.”
The impressive sculpture runs across the front of his bungalow - encroaching on son Josh’s next door - and is adorned in Christmas lights.
Bill said: “I never miss the programme - I watch every episode.
“It took a few weeks of planning and putting together, and we were given the materials by local builders’ merchants Huws Gray and Thorncliffes.
“It’s worth all the trouble because of the pleasure it gives so many people.

“We get lots of cars stopping and people taking photos.
“We are under pressure now to do something every year. I already have an idea for next year, but I won’t say what it is.”
Their previous efforts have included a Star Wars display, and last year Santa and one of his reindeer appeared to have smashed through the roof.
